Dell Acquires EqualLogic
 

So, Dell now owns EqualLogic and everyone is curious what this means for EqualLogic customers, Dell customers and EqualLogic Channel Partners.  While Flytrap was committed to the product given it's superiority in the marketplace, we remained skeptically opitmistic about our chances of success partnering with Dell,  We have only seen good things come of it so far.  Lower prices were the first sign of good things to come.  Follow that with an enthusiastic and helpful Dell support team (located in the US) and our skepticism is dwindling.  For the first time, Dell is showing signs of a sustainable channel program.  The formula was simple really; let the Channel make a living and ensure the customers remain happy with the product and it's support.

Given Flytrap's status as an EqualLogic Premier Partner, we are now a Dell Certified Partner, which entitles us to larger discounts on a broader array of products.  This is a great benefit to Flytrap and our clients.  With recent improvements to Dell products and support, Flytrap is looking forward to working with Dell moving forward.
